Firestick & Fire TV

How to use Elitestream IPTV on a Firestick

Amazon’s streaming sticks are the most common way our customers watch. They cost little, plug into any spare HDMI port, and turn a television that is not smart into one that is.

Is this the right device?

Why a Firestick suits this well

A Fire TV device runs a version of Android underneath, which means player applications behave much as they would on a tablet: you install one, sign in, and the channel list loads.

It also means the setup is portable. If you replace the television, the stick moves across with everything already configured — you are not starting again with a different manufacturer’s app store.

What to expect

The practical detail

Plugs into any HDMI port

No installation, no engineer, and no change to the television you already own.

Runs its own app store

The player you need is installed from the Amazon Appstore in the usual way.

Moves between televisions

Take it to a second room, or to a holiday rental, and sign in there.

The one weak spot is Wi-Fi

The stick sits behind the screen, often the worst reception point in the room. An Ethernet adapter resolves more buffering complaints than any app setting does.

Step-by-step

Setting up on Firestick & Fire TV

Amazon’s streaming sticks run a version of Android, so a player app installed from the Amazon Appstore behaves much like one on a tablet.

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, open the search icon and look for an IPTV player application that accepts subscription login details.

  2. Install the player and open it once so that it finishes setting itself up.

  3. Choose the option to add a playlist or account, and enter the details we sent you exactly as they were written.

  4. Wait for the channel list and program guide to download. The first load takes the longest.

  5. Open a channel to confirm playback, then check a second channel in a different category.

Worth knowing. A Firestick sits directly behind the television, which is often the weakest spot for Wi-Fi in the room. If playback is uneven, an Ethernet adapter usually helps more than changing any setting in the app.

Frequently asked questions

Questions customers ask before they order

Which devices can I use?

Any device that runs a compatible IPTV player application and has a stable internet connection is a candidate: Amazon Fire TV and Firestick, Android TV boxes and Google TV, Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, Windows and Mac computers, and many Smart TVs. Our Compatible Devices page lists what each one needs, and the Installation Guide walks through the setup.

Do I need a separate player app?

Yes. Elitestream IPTV supplies the subscription and the login details; playback happens inside a third-party IPTV player application that you install from your device’s own app store. We do not publish our own proprietary app. The Installation Guide explains how to choose a player and where to enter your details.

How do I install a compatible IPTV player?

Open the app store on your device, install a player that accepts subscription login details, then enter the details we sent you. Our Installation Guide has step-by-step instructions for Firestick, Smart TV, Android TV and Apple TV, with screenshots of what each screen should look like.
